Kasey R. Losik, a junior architecture major from Fennville, Michigan, has turned a passion she’s had since early childhood into a way to de-stress from her studies.
She was nominated for the 2023 PCI Foundation Community Engagement Award by PCI Gulf South Executive Director Dan Eckenrode.
In celebration of 50 years of excellence in design education, the SARC Alumni Exhibit showcases a diverse collection of architectural work from over 80 alumni. The exhibit serves as a graphic overview of the many professional accomplishments of our alumni by highlighting a mosaic of talent, career trajectories, firm types, project specialties, geographic diversity, and overall design excellence.
At the founding of the Mississippi State University School of Architecture, the dean and faculty of the school invited outstanding practitioners and academics to come to campus and take on a design challenge, the Chautauqua. The Chautauqua was conceived as a collaboration between the School of Architecture and the Center for Small Town Research and Design (the former name of the current research center the ) at the inception of the Small Town Center in October 1979.
