ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ

Gabriella Sutherland

Why did you choose CAAD at ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ?

The built environment has always been important to me, as well as being able to pursue interdisciplinary approaches in design. The program CAAD offered allowed me to experience both traditional and contemporary design practices, in addition to offering a very challenging studio environment that I knew would push me to be the best I could be—both in individual projects, as well as collaborative ones.

Favorite spot on campus?

Third floor of Mitchell Memorial Library, or the atrium in Giles Hall.

If you could go back and tell your high school self one thing, what would it be?

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Stay curious, and trust your instincts. One day we’re going to be where we’re supposed to be.

These are a few of my favorite things….

Sketchbooks, explorative art, chai tea, studio nights, photography, writing, cognitive science, cool earrings, big words, cities, and people who love what they do.
